| HOPE (Helping Our Parents Educate) offers: - an annual "not going back to school" camping trip at the Palisades State Park - support for parents, social activities for children, currently aged 4 - 16 at monthly meetings, - a Gavel Club (Toastmasters for kids) that meets twice monthly, - monthly field trips with an ecology focus through the National Wildlife Refuge's Ingersoll Center - additional field trips according to members' interests as they schedule them - occasional classes members are willing to offer (crochet, dissecting, electronics, microscopes) - Art Classes through a local artist's cooperative Members come from Carroll and Jo Davies Counties. | ||||||||

| HOUSE (Home Oriented Unique Schooling Experience) offers: - active email forums - a science club - monthly (or more frequent) field trips of great variety - seasonal potlucks/parties - annual school photos/yearbook HOUSE is part of a statewide organization which offers an annual family conference and dues are currently $8/family. Members come from Stephenson, Jo Davies, Carroll, Ogle, Whiteside and Winnebago counties. | ||||||||
